FAQ

Do you do walk-ins?
We’re very grateful that our artists are in high demand, but it means we don’t have the availability to do same day appts. Also, we specialize in doing all original tattoos and our artists have very specific styles, which doesn’t always lend itself to many walk-in requests.

How do I make an appt?
You can find each artist’s specific booking guidelines by visiting the Booking page. We generally book out for tattoos several months ahead of time. You must be 18 years of age and have government issued ID to make an appt. Your artist may like to schedule a consultation with you before putting you on their calendar.

What can I expect during a consultation?
During an art appt or consultation, you’ll go over details with your artist about content, size and placement. You’ll be able to ask your artist any questions not covered here. You’ll then be asked to lay down a deposit and get your tattoo scheduled.

How do deposits work?
A deposit is a set amount of money your artist requires to book the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and come off the price of your final tattoo session.
Your deposit may be forfeited if:
-You change the details of the tattoo agreed upon during the consultation.
-You reschedule or cancel your appt in less than 48 hours before your appt or simply don’t show up.
-You reschedule more than twice

How do I prepare for my tattoo appt?
There are several things you can do to prepare for your tattoo appt!

Make sure your medications won’t effect the tattoo or healing process.
Check with your doctor and research if your conditions and medications may adversely effect your tattoo and/or healing and be sure to thoroughly communicate that with your artist prior to the tattoo appt.

Avoid alcohol the night before.
Not only can alcohol thin your blood for over 24 hours, it really does suck a little more to get tattooed if you’re not feeling your best.

Eat beforehand.
It’s essential that you eat a good meal or snack roughly an hour or two before you get tattooed. Having eaten means that your risk for lightheadedness and nausea is much lower. It also helps you keep your energy up and your mind better enabled to deal with the discomfort. During long tattoo appts, we all take breaks, so please feel free to bring a snack and a drink. We also have a great variety of food in walking distance!

Wear the appropriate clothing.
It’s important that what you wear to the tattoo appointment is not only comfortable, but allows easy and total access to the area getting tattooed. We also have screens we can set up for privacy. Sometimes you might feel a little chilly while getting tattooed, so please feel free to bring a clean throw blanket.

Fill out your intake form.
We’re happy to offer digital intake forms that you can fill out the day of your appt. You’ll find the link for each artist’s form in their bio.

How do I pay for my tattoo?
While your artist may use digital payment platforms for deposits, we are cash only in shop and have an ATM in house.
