“Reproductive justice is our passion. As menstruators ourselves, we understand the difficulties that come along with bleeding. We also recognize that a hard day can be even harder when on your period. No one should have to skip work or school because they can’t afford period products. We want to bring access to period products to everyone who needs it because everyone deserves to have their needs met. And we mean everyone. All races, genders, ages and socioeconomic statuses are affected by the lack of access to reproductive health products. We want to change that. Eugene Bleeds was started with that in mind: Helping People Period.”

Daisy C.H.A.I.N

“Daisy C.H.A.I.N. (DC) is considered a leader in the community for doula, lactation, pregnancy, birthing, and parenting resources and has been serving clients since Fall 2012. DC's mission is to provide the community with research and evidence-based support services and education for individuals and families in their reproductive years. We envision a network where every individual is supported and empowered through their personal reproductive and parenting journeys. DC values continuous improvement and community feedback to create responsive programs that meet the population's needs.
DC programs are FREE to ALL families and are delivered by highly skilled, professionally-trained staff/volunteers in families’ homes and in community locations, reflecting DC's core value for increasing equitable access to high quality care that normalizes accessing support, prevents and reduces isolation, and creates a safety net for individuals who are otherwise at-risk of falling through service gaps. Programs are designed to consider social determinants of health in the overall model of delivery as well as in the individualized care provided to each client. Doulas, International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), peers, and educators meet clients where they are, literally and figuratively, embodying DC's value for nonjudgmental, trauma-informed program delivery.”

  • We address root causes of oppression by seeking to change attitudes, behaviors, and policy through education, activism, and cultural means.

  • We challenge ourselves and others to address privilege and power, to work collaboratively as effective allies, and to help build leadership, especially for marginalized and dis-empowered people.

  • We work as a multi-racial, multi-class, multi-gendered, multi-generational movement on social justice issues and projects.”
